The Butterfly Lion

I absolutely loved this book ! It’s amazing it’s a bit sad but I loved and enjoyed the story so much! I really recommend, Michael Morpurgo is an amazing author!

I really liked this book. The main character was a boy called Bertie who lived in Africa. I liked it because he was very brave when he rescued the white lion. It was sad when Monseur Merlot took the lion to be in his circus. He told the whole story of Bertie being in the army and finding the white lion in France. It had a bit of a sad ending but it was still a great story. Show more Show less

Good book for animal lovers. I learned a few things about the war. I liked the character of Bertie and the ending.

This is a very well written book with great characters and really imaganitive plot.

This is very intriguing book and joyful book because the story keeps your attention all of the time and you don't know what is going to happen next.

Story about a young boy who never gave up his search for his childhood white lion. A nice story with a very interesting twist at the end
